Assessment Tasks

Copy and paste from the following data to produce each assessment task. Write these in plain English and spell out how, when and where the task is to be carried out, under what conditions, and what resources are needed. Include guidelines about how well the candidate has to perform a task for it to be judged satisfactory.
Copy and paste from the following performance criteria to create an observation checklist for each task. When you have finished writing your assessment tool every one of these must have been addressed, preferably several times in a variety of contexts. To ensure this occurs download the assessment matrix for the unit; enter each assessment task as a column header and place check marks against each performance criteria that task addresses.

Observation Checklist

Identify the customer order, scope of work and work undertaken as relevant from job instructions and workplace documents 
Verify that all in-scope works are completed as required 
Verify that all applicable predelivery checks are completed 
Gather and check all documents and other items to be handed over 
Agree a time with the customer for the handover 
Ensure the vehicle is in a suitable location and prepared to hand over at the agreed time 
Meet with and welcome the customer at the agreed time 
Provide verbal and written information to the customer about the operation of the vehicle and all accessories and options fitted and/or repaired 
Demonstrate to the customer the operation of the vehicle and all accessories and options fitted and/or repaired 
Explain any restricted conditions of use in accordance with legislation and regulations 
Explain to the customer the current condition of the recreational vehicle and work it might need in future 
Actively question the customer to verify their understanding of key aspects of the operation of the vehicle and all accessories and options fitted or repaired 
Gain the customer’s confirmation they have inspected the vehicle and understood all safety instructions provided to them 
Ensure the customer is satisfied with the vehicle, accessories and options 
Follow procedures for payment and contractual requirements 
Help the customer hitch or otherwise take delivery of the recreational vehicle 
Complete task outcome documentation
